Glycidyl Neodecanoate is an epoxide ester derived from neodecanoic acid.

Its branched-chain structure (where R1 and R2 are branched alkyl groups summing to eight carbon atoms) provides unique properties.

Applications：

1. Resin Intermediate
Used in the synthesis of polyesters, acrylics, and epoxy resins to improve hydrolytic stability and flexibility in coatings.
2. Reactive Diluent
Effectively reduces viscosity in epoxy resin systems (e.g., BPA/BPF-based), offering good fluidity, crystallization resistance, and enhanced chemical resistance in cured coatings for flooring and concrete repair.
3. Acid Scavenger
Reduces the acid value in polyesters and synthetic lubricants. Typically, 4.3–30 mg of glycidyl neodecanoate is added per gram of product per unit (mg KOH/g) of acid value reduction. Excess can be removed by distillation.
